In addition to my list of recommendations in the email I sent- my friend whose daughter lives in Paris suggested you book a dinner ride on the Bateau Mouche (nice evening activity for a family) Also stop for gelato every chance you get! There are also the catacombs and or sewers tours and “younger” shopping for Karen near in les Halles area. Versailles will take a day, there and back, same with Giverny (monets house and garden) and all the incredible museums if that is your interest.
